Crafty Goodness!

Last Sunday was Crafty Chicks 4 Charity's first ever craft day and what a great day it was.  The girls were extremely creative making rings, necklaces, "Posey" pins, potholders and hair clips.  CC4C will be selling their goods tomorrow from 12-2 in SV.  Please email us for our address and remember, for the months of March and April, all proceeds will go directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Just a little bit of the CC4C creative chaos....

Welcome to Crafty Chicks 4 Charity!

Hi, my name is Emilie and I am a "Crafty Chick".  Last June I was diagnosed with Leukemia and I just finished my treatment.  I had to stay in hospitals, get shots and go through a whole bunch of other stuff.  While I was home between chemo treatments, my mom was making felt owls and I asked to look through her leftover material.  I made a small drawstring bag from her scraps and some buttons and thought it would be a great cell phone holder.  I started thinking about different things that I could make and possibly sell.  I thought that I could sell my crafts and donate the money to different organizations.    While I was at the hospital, many people and organizations helped me and my family.  Now that I am better, I want to do something that can also help others.  I like to make crafts and I like being together with my friends.  My idea is to get together with my friends, make crafts, have fun and help others at the same time.  The organizations that we will be donating to are:
Camp Okizu
Jacob's Heart
Jesus, Mary and Joseph Home
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Lucile Packard Children's Hospital
Ronald McDonald House of Memphis
St. Jude Children's Hospital

For March, Crafty Chicks 4 Charity will be donating all money raised to the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
When you purchase an item from Crafty Chicks 4 Charity you are helping others.

.:| This is the Whatever Bag |:.
It is a machine stitched bag with a ribbon drawstring and some have added buttons for decoration.  They are approximately 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.  I decided to call it the Whatever bag because it can hold many different things.  It is a neat bag to hold cell phones, cameras, gift cards, hand sanitizer and can even be used as a treat bag for a kid's birthday party.

The Happy Dots, Floral, Mod and Bubbles Whatever bags are $3 each.

The Citrus, Patriotic and Red bags are $3.50 each.

.:| This is the Banner card |:.
Each card has a nice banner and is 4 1/4 x 5 inches and comes with an envelope.
The Banner card is $0.50 each.

.:| This is the Memphis Potholder / Coaster |:.
I made these potholders/coasters at St. Jude Children's Hospital when I was there for NK cell therapy in December.  The Child Life person gave me two kits; it was fun to make the potholders/coasters while I had to stay in the hospital.  They are all different and are approximately 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches.
The Memphis Potholder/Coaster is $2.00.

Please email Crafty Chicks 4 Charity at cc4charity@aol.com with your order and we will deliver it or send it to you right away. Thank you for helping others!

Check back soon.  We will be announcing our first Crafty Chicks 4 Charity crafting day for girls in 4th grade and up.
